Today we were introduced to the My Classes area of NetMedia. Again, I think there will be lots of possibilities for use but not straight away.

 We had an interesting discussion about the different ways that we may introduce a VLE to a school. I feel it will be quite different in primary and secondary, especially small primary schools. Unless teachers see a use and a purpose for the VLE it won't be used.

I don't think there are any shortage of opportunities for use in primary schools, but the way it is introduced to the staff as a whole will be very important to how they first view the potential of this environment.

Being part of the new E-Learning Team is going to be a challenge for us all. Today was the first time I have really had a chance to look at what is offered within our VLE, NetMedia.

I think I will need a lot more time to play with the wide range of tools, but I can see huge possibilities for use in the classroom and school as a whole. I was worried that it may not have much to offer the primary teacher, but I think there will be a lot of creative use of many of the tools.

 There is a lot to get my head round, but it has been a useful learning process, especially if I am going to be teaching teachers how to use the system.
